We are actively working to implement new legislation to place safehouses all throughout the community. The goal is to save as many children as possible and to be an additional tool besides TPD and LCCS. No child should slip through the cracks. It is crucial that all reach out to their local city counsel members to advocate for Kei'Mani's law. Once the law is passed, we will put a link on our website of the law itself.
TERMS& REGULATIONS
-Kei'Mani's Law NUMBER 1 RULE: Is that the provider has to have a complete FBI AND BCI background check as well as ALL members of the Household.
- Provider must agree to a series of terms such as allowing local police departments direct access to their homes, outside security systems (like the Ring Doorbell cameras or video doorbell cameras of their choice).
-Safe homes must be smoke free, with all alcohol, tobacco and firearms kept away from children, firearms must be locked away at ALL times.
